This dynamic program combines martial arts training with character development to help children improve focus, respect- self discipline and confident. Students will learn basic Taekwondo techniques, including kicks, blocks and forms. Calling all Bid Whist enthusiasts! On Thursday nights come play Bid Whist at Dolton Park District. This program offers a blend of friendly competition and social interaction! Every hand brings new possibilities and strategic decision! Bid Whist is a partnership trick-taking variant of the classic card game. As indicated by the name, Bid Whist adds a bidding element to the game that is not present in classic Whist. All skill levels are welcomed.

We believe that all children have potential to do big things. Incredible things. That's why Big Brothers Big Sisters is matching students ("Littles") one - on - one with caring mentors ("Bigs") who are committed to being there for your child, seeing then succeed and making it fun.Students and mentors meet in a group setting led by a Program Facilitator every other Thursday, twice a month from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Program activities includes time for relationship building, a structured activity, and more!
